This story primarily revolves around "Faith", who is a talent singer-songwriter that must overcome a condition that's stopping her from moving forward in her career. Also, Bill T, the highly driven creator of the show AboveGround, must deal with his own set of demons when he is challenged by his own fellow judges with their reluctance to do the show they were hand picked for.
